woodburners4u supplies and installs wood burning stoves for homes and businesses across the UK, using experienced, fully insured installers. By using this website, you agree to these terms of use.
2. Using this website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not:
- Submit false, misleading or fraudulent enquiries
- Use the website in a way that could damage, disable or impair it
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its systems
- Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or extract content from this website without our prior written consent
- Upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses or harmful material
3. Quote enquiries
When you submit a quote enquiry through this website, you are asking us to provide you with a quotation for the supply and installation of a wood burning stove. Submitting an enquiry does not constitute a contract and does not oblige either party to proceed with a booking.
We aim to respond to all enquiries promptly, typically within two hours during normal working hours. Response times may vary depending on demand and the time of submission.
Quotes are provided based on the information you supply. Final pricing may be subject to an on-site or telephone assessment for larger or more complex jobs.
4. Bookings and services
A contract for the supply and installation of a wood burning stove is formed when you accept a quotation and confirm a booking with us in writing (including by email or text). At that point, the agreed scope, price and date constitute the terms of the service.
We reserve the right to decline any enquiry at our discretion, for example if we do not have availability in your area or if your requirements are outside our current service offering.
5. Cancellation and rescheduling
We ask for a minimum of 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee, which will be communicated to you at the time of booking.
In exceptional circumstances we may need to reschedule your booking. We will give you as much notice as possible and offer an alternative date at no additional cost.
6. Pricing and payment
All prices quoted are in pounds sterling (GBP) and inclusive of VAT where applicable. Prices are based on the information provided at the time of enquiry. We reserve the right to revise a quote if the scope of work changes materially from what was originally described.
Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking. We accept payment by bank transfer and card.
7. Our liability
We take care to ensure our installers carry out their work to a professional standard. In the unlikely event that something is damaged during an installation, please notify us within 24 hours of the work being completed so we can investigate.
Our liability to you is limited to the value of the services provided. We are not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Losses arising from pre-existing damage, wear or fragile items not disclosed in advance
- Losses where access to the property was not made available at the agreed time
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Your responsibilities
To allow us to carry out our services safely and effectively, you agree to:
- Ensure safe access to the property at the agreed time
- Disclose any known hazards, including the condition of any existing chimney, flue or fireplace
- Ensure the installation area is clear and that pets are secured where relevant
- Make us aware of any building or listing restrictions that may affect the installation
